Beginner
Aim
Master the art of reading the Quran from scratch. This course is your first key to unlocking correct pronunciation and basic Tajweed, giving you the skills and confidence to read Surat Al-Buruj to Al-Nas with clarity and precision.
Syllabus
– Practical: Fluent reading and applied Maki Qaida of Surat Al- Borouj to Surat Al-Nas (15 pages).
– Theoretical: Formal study using “Phonetic Rules of Quranic Recitation Made Easy” by Dr. Yahya Al-Ghawthani.
Prerequisites
No previous knowledge is needed.
Total Hours & Duration
60 hours total, delivered in 30 sessions. Classes are twice a week, making this a 15-week course.

Intermediate
Aim
This course is designed to refine fluency, deepen tajweed application, and solidify your theoretical understanding, enabling you to read a significant portion of the Quran (Al-Buruj to At-Taghabun) with confidence and precision.

Prerequisites
Foundational knowledge of Arabic letters and basic reading skills.

88 hours total (60 Practical, 28 Theory). Delivered over 22 weeks in 44 sessions (twice weekly).

Aim
This advanced level is the culmination of Quranic study, offering two distinguished paths: Hifz (Memorization) for an Ijaza (certification of transmission), or Khatm (Fluent Recitation by sight). Dedicated students are guided through a long-term program to achieve their highest recitational goals under direct teacher supervision.
Program Paths
- - Khatm Dhabt (by sight): For fluent, correct recitation of the entire Quran.
- - Ijaza (by heart): For full memorization (Hifz) and certification of chain of transmission. Requires completion of the concurrent Advanced Tajweed Theory Course.
Syllabus & Structure
- - Core Practice: Personalised reading/memorization of approximately 2 pages per session.
- Frequency: Twice weekly, 1-hour sessions. *Direct Practice: Each student engages in 15 minutes of supervised, individualized oral reading with immediate teacher feedback. *Collaborative Learning: The full hour is leveraged for group benefit. While not reading, students develop active listening skills, learn from peer corrections, and build fluency by hearing modeled reading.
- - Program Duration: 90 hours per year; 45 weeks per year, with the full journey typically spanning 3.5 years.

Compulsory Companion Course
- - Advanced Tajweed Theory: A dedicated 1-hour weekly class for one year (45 hours total). This course is compulsory for Ijaza students and highly recommended for Khatm students, providing the scholarly foundation for mastery.
- - Availability: Can be taken at any point during the main advanced program.
